Overview

FuraPay (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service at furapay.com.

By using FuraPay, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Business information — your business name, logo, payment link, and invoice preferences.
  • Invoice data — client names, email addresses, invoice amounts, due dates, and notes you enter.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app.
  • Device data — browser type, IP address, and operating system for security and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the FuraPay service.
  • Send automated invoice reminders to your clients on your behalf.
  • Generate AI-written reminder emails using the invoice and client data you provide.
  • Process your subscription payments and manage your account.
  • Send you important service updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve product features (aggregated, never sold).

Payment Processing

FuraPay uses Lemon Squeezy to process subscription payments. When you subscribe, your payment details are collected and stored directly by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your full card number. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.

Your personal payment link (e.g. a Stripe or PayPal link) that you add in Settings is stored securely and is only used to include in reminder emails sent to your clients.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:

  • Resend — our email delivery provider, used to send reminder emails to your clients.
  • Supabase — our database and authentication provider, where your data is stored securely.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI is used to generate reminder email copy. Invoice and client data is sent to generate personalised messages. No data is used to train AI models.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are GDPR-compliant.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS. We use row-level security, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and strict access controls to protect your data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing, including marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@furapay.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

FuraPay uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.

Children's Privacy

FuraPay is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
